Simple ways to maintain a healthy and fit life
One of the most common sayings which we all learnt early in our schools was “Prevention is better than cure”. Its time our children not only learn this saying but inculcate it at the earliest. With newer health issues came in new medical sciences, treatments and technologies. Yet our forefathers had a better health fitness life sans all the new medical facilities and technologies. Our health fitness is after all entirely in our hands. We need to inculcate a few time proven habits in our day to day life which would ensure good quality of life.
Eating healthy is one of the most important aspects of health fitness. Our ancestors did survive without pizzas and burgers. Indulging in fast food once in a while would still be acceptable but daily diet has to be balanced and healthy to ensure health fitness. Eating at proper intervals and mot going overboard with your favorite.
Foods are very important. Obesity is the mother of most of the health troubles. Controlling your weight is certainly a must. Someone said, “Have breakfast like a king and dinner like a pauper”. He certainly knew what health fitness was about.
Going for walks and a bit of exercise should be part of our daily regime. This could do wonders to our day to day health issues. With our lives becoming hectic and pressures from all quarters we hardly spend time outdoors. It’s either or home. Spend time outdoors whenever and wherever possible. Nature is the best doctor you would ever come across.
Another common saying which our old timers keep repeating and we refuse to abide by it, is “Early to bed, early to rise”. This certainly makes a man “Healthy, wealthy and wise”.
Health fitness not only involves your physical fitness but also mental health. Modern lives are stressed with various pressures. Being happy is the key to health fitness. Indulging in activities gives immense satisfaction and pleasure, be it some kind of a hobby like painting, singing, reading or dancing. This also reduces and manages stress levels. Spending time with near and dear ones, laughing a lot also do the trick.
These basic tips would certainly ensure great health fitness.
